近期,公司研究生季亮、教师张刘挺(通讯)、杨兴林等的研究成果Remarkably improved hydrogen storage performance of MgH2 by the synergetic effect of FeNi/rGO nanocomposite在《Dalton Transactions》(IF=4.052)上发表。

论文简介如下:

Magnesium hydride (MgH2) has been considered as a promising storage hydrogen material for hydrogen energy buildings, but its practical application is hampered by the poor kinetics and stable thermodynamics. Herein, FeNi nanoparticles dispersed on reduced graphene oxide nanosheets (FeNi/rGO) were prepared though a feasible method and excellent catalytic effect on improving the hydrogen storage performance of MgH2 wasconfirmed. The 5 wt% FeNi/rGO modified MgH2 started to release hydrogen at 230 °C and liberated 6.5 wt% H2 within 10 min at 300 °C. As for hydrogenation process, the dehydrogenated sample could take up 5.4 wt% H2 within 20 min at 125 °C under the hydrogen pressure of 32 bar. More importantly, a hydrogen capacity of 6.9 wt% was maintained after 50 cycles without compromising the kinetics for each cycle. A special catalytic mechanism has been proposed that the synergetic effects between the in-situ formed Mg2Ni/Mg2NiH4, Fe and rGO, helped to promote the hydrogen dissociation and diffusion along the Mg/MgH2 interface, anchor the catalyst and prevent MgH2 from aggregation and growth.
