论文简介如下:

Generally, the manufacturing technology of fuel cell unit is considered to be well satisfies the current commercialization requirement. However, achieving the high performance and duration stack design is still an obstacle on its commercializing way. In this paper, a complicated 3D multi-physics model for a typical one cell solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stack with interdigitated flow channels feature is firstly developed for working detail predication. The stack adopts the conventional paralleled line type rib channels for the air flow path to reduce the air flowing resistance due to the high stack air flow supply rate. The interdigitated flow channels as the distributor is adopted for fuel flow path to increase the fuel flowing resistance of the whole stack and enhance the fuel and exhaust transmission capabilities within the porous anode. The model consists of the whole stack components and well couples the momentum, species and energy conservation and the quasi-electrochemical equations. Through the developed model, we can well get the working details within those stacks with the above interdigitated flow channels feature, such as, the fuel and air flows feeding qualities over the electrode surface, hydrogen and oxygen concentration distributions within the porous electrodes, temperature gradient distribution characteristics, and so on. The simulated result shows that the stack design combining the paralleled line type rib channels and interdigitated flow channels for air and fuel flow paths, respectively, would have good potential application project after further confirmed by experiment.
